We maintain an integrated management system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2005 and possess the certifications to produce wheelset axles, open-die forgings and rings for many European railway enterprises, among them DB AG, SNCB, ÖBB, NL and NF.

We are additionally certified by TÜV to WO/TRD 100, AD 2000 and 97/23/EC, as well as by Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, etc., for all other long-forging machine, ring rolling mill and open-die forging plant products.

Our successful and longstanding rating as a Q-1 vendor for DB AG, for example, and as an "A" rated or preferential vendor for renowned manufacturers from many branches of industry spurs us on, time and again, to continually improve our QM system as well as the skills of the personnel occupied in this field. Avoidance instead of correction of non-conformance is one of the important objectives in this regard.

This also includes the constant reduction of rejection rates, reworking and complaints. The implication of this is a continuous limitation of costs, enabling us to offer our customers competitive prices and to realise a profit, thereby ensuring a positive development of Bahntechnik Brand-Erbisdorf GmbH as a vendor over the long term.

We look to influence our suppliers in like manner at all times in order to drive home this concept of quality.
